The Los Angeles Convention Center anchors the southern end of LA Live and hosts the largest trade shows on the West Coast. Anime Expo brings 350,000 attendees over four days each July. The LA Auto Show fills both halls every November. Adobe MAX, Esri User Conference, DesignCon, and dozens of medical, technology, and consumer trade shows rotate through the 720,000 square feet of exhibit space throughout the year. Beginning in 2028, the venue will host fencing, judo, table tennis, taekwondo, and wrestling for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Convention transportation is its own discipline. Tens of thousands of attendees stay at hotels scattered across Downtown LA, the LAX corridor, and Beverly Hills. Exhibit crews need access to the loading docks during move-in and move-out windows that often run 24 hours. Sponsors run VIP transfers to offsite events. Production crews need transportation between the venue and the warehouses that store their booth materials. Every show has its own transportation needs, and almost every show needs a charter operator who has done this before.

GTS Charter has been running convention shuttle programs at the LACC for over 20 years. We coordinate hotel-to-venue shuttle loops with synchronized arrival times, exhibitor crew transport for move-in and move-out, attendee shuttles from LAX and Burbank for fly-in delegates, VIP and sponsor transfers to offsite events at LA Live and beyond, and dedicated executive transportation for keynote speakers and conference leadership. With 2028 Olympic preparations underway, our planning calendar already runs years ahead.

What We Provide

Group Transportation Services at LA Convention Center

Convention Hotel Shuttle Loops

The defining transportation challenge for conventions at the LACC is the hotel shuttle loop — moving thousands of attendees from dozens of hotels to the venue at the start of each session day, and back again in the evening. GTS Charter designs and operates these programs with synchronized arrival times, real-time dispatch, and the operational reliability that show organizers require.

Exhibitor Move-In & Move-Out Transport

Exhibit move-in and move-out at the LACC runs in carefully scheduled windows, often 24 hours a day for major shows. GTS Charter provides crew shuttles, equipment transport coordination, and overnight driver dispatch for exhibitor logistics teams — with the credentials and experience to operate inside the show's loading-dock and security perimeter.

LAX & Burbank Airport Shuttles

A large portion of LACC convention attendees fly into LAX or Burbank. GTS Charter runs scheduled airport shuttle programs for fly-in delegates, with arrivals coordinated to flight schedules, real-time tracking, and the commercial-vehicle credentials that LAX and BUR require for motorcoach operations.

VIP & Sponsor Hospitality Transfers

Major conventions include VIP and sponsor hospitality programs with transfers to offsite venues, exclusive dinners, and partner events across LA. GTS Charter coordinates these transfers with the discretion, on-time precision, and executive-vehicle options that VIP programs require.

Anime Expo, Auto Show & Marquee Convention Support

Anime Expo, the LA Auto Show, Adobe MAX, and other recurring marquee conventions have specific transportation patterns we know well. GTS provides dedicated planning, fleet allocation, and on-site operations support for these shows — with the kind of institutional knowledge that builds up only after multiple years on the same event.

2028 Olympic Group Transport

The LACC will host five sports for the 2028 Olympic Games — fencing, judo, table tennis, taekwondo, and wrestling. GTS Charter is preparing fleet capacity, multilingual driver coordination, federation logistics support, and the operational infrastructure required for Olympic-scale transportation.

Local Expertise

Why GTS Knows LA Convention Center

01

Hotel-to-Venue Loop Design Experience

Designing a convention hotel shuttle loop is its own engineering problem — balancing route length, vehicle count, frequency, and capacity against the show's session schedule and the city's traffic patterns. GTS Charter has designed and operated dozens of these loops over two decades, and we know what works at the LACC specifically.

02

Downtown LA & LA Live Traffic Mastery

The LACC sits in the most congested square mile in Los Angeles, surrounded by Crypto.com Arena, the Peacock Theater, LA Live, and a dense grid of streets that lock down on event nights. Our drivers know which streets remain passable when Figueroa, Pico, and Chick Hearn Court close, and we coordinate routing around concurrent events at adjacent venues.

03

Loading Dock & Security Credentialing

Exhibit crew transport at the LACC requires drivers and vehicles to operate inside the show's security perimeter, often through restricted loading dock access. GTS has the credentialing process down to a science, working with show organizers and LACC security to file pre-event plans and credential drivers in advance.

04

Multi-Show Concurrent Operations

On many days the LACC runs multiple concurrent shows in different halls, plus events at the adjacent Crypto.com Arena and Peacock Theater. GTS coordinates transportation across all of these programs, often shuttling crews and attendees between events without missing a session.
